We visited my Grandma last week and she gave us a jar of homemade chunky applesauce. M has deemed it “the best applesauce I ever had!” At his request, it’s going in his lunchbox today. I added some fruit, veggies and some bite size cereal (also at his request). Quick and easy.
He also requested that I do NOT send him a snack tomorrow. He admits that he just isn’t that hungry at lunchtime after just having had a snack right before. I asked him if he was going to feel left out when everyone else is eating a snack and he’s not. He said he won’t care. He gets milk at snack time and said he would just drink that and he would be fine. We’ll see what happens tomorrow, but I’m pretty proud of my little man for knowing what he needs…even if everyone else is doing something different. Fingers crossed.
